Overview
Depending on your Seona subscription tier, you will have access to various number of credits per month. One credit can be redeemed for writing one blog. Please refer to our pricing page.
Based on your desired schedule and preferences, writing and publishing blogs to your website can be fully automated using Seona. You also have the option to manually create blog posts using Seona's advanced features to your specific preference at any time as long as you have remaining credits to do so.
Your credits are reset every month and won't allow you to publish more than 30 blog posts per month.
Upcoming blog posts
View blog posts that Seona will write for you in the future under this section. You can drag to re-arrange the order of upcoming blog posts from the Calendar page. Clicking on a blog post will display the post content if it's already been written, or allow you to change the settings of the blog post.
Published blog posts
Review your already published blog posts that were generated by Seona. Published blog cannot be deleted from Seona but can be edited on the web hosting platform that you're using.
Drafts blog posts
All your blogs that you either generated manually using Seona but never published or auto-generated blog posts that you never approved for release.
Failed blog posts
Your blog posts that failed to generate. This should usually not happen and is usually due to your web provider service not being properly setup. Please contact customer support if you notice your blog posts failing and you're unsure for why.
Automate your blog post schedule
To manage your blog post schedule, navigate to Seona's settings page. Here you will find the following automation settings for your blog posts.
Publishing settings
Automatic publishing: You will have one week to review and edit blog posts before they are automatically published by Seona.
Approval publishing: Seona will not automatically publish blog posts until they are approved. Blog posts can be approved at any time.
Manual publishing: Seona will still write blog posts every week, but they will not be automatically published.
Schedule
When creating your schedule, you can select to post on any day of the week. At the moment all posting happens at approximately at 6 PM UTC on the selected date.
Default type
For your automated blog posts, choose the type of blog post to be generated by default. The type can also be selected when generating blog posts from scratch. By default, the type will be randomized for each post to create a larger variety of blog posts to optimize for your SEO growth.
Standard: Comprehensive and detailed blog posts that delve deep into a specific topic.
Listicle: A structured, easy-to-read blog post format presenting information in a numbered or bulleted list.
FAQ: Answers a "Frequently Asked Question" about your industry.
Default author (voices)
Changing the author means changing the tone, writing style and language used in writing your blog posts. Choose the author for blog posts to be published with by default. The author can also be changed on a per-post basis.
Blog page
Set the page on which you would like your blog posts to be published on your website. Depending on your website provider, these options will vary. Please contact support if you're having any issues related to your publishing page.
Reaserch
The research and sources to support the claims made in your blog posts are also automatically provided for you.
Internal links: will include links within blog posts directing visitors to relevant pages on your website and providing more accurate context.
External links: will conduct research and find relevant external sources to use as references and link within blog posts to improve credibility.
Image theme
Choose which theme or AI model is best for your blog's image generation.
Manually create a new blog post
Blog post type: your blog post can either be a Standard blog, a listicle or an FAQ as mentioned above in this article.
Title and a relevant keyword: Seona will automatically generate Title and Keyword combinations as suggestions for you to use. You can also browse your keywords to use high ranking keywords for your business to be the foundation of your blogs.
Sources: Seona will conduct research and find relevant external sources to use as references and link within blog posts to improve credibility. You can find more information about this above in this article.
Details: Select a publishing date for your blog post. The date will automatically select the next available date based on your posting schedule. It will select the next available date that doesn't have a Blog generated already. You can choose any date that is at least 24 hours into the future. You can also provide any pointers for what you'd like to see in the generated blog by typing them into the "Additional context" text field.
Blog Post Editor
Craft compelling and engaging blog posts with Seona's intuitive blog post editor. Here's a detailed breakdown of the various features and functionalities available:
Blog Toolbar
In the blog post editor, you have full control over managing your blog header. Here, you can:
Save Blog Post Content: Save any changes made to your blog post content to ensure that your progress is preserved.
Add Image: Enhance your blog post with visually appealing images by adding them directly from the editor.
Approve Blog Post: If you're using the "Approve before posting" setting, you can approve the blog post for publishing directly from the editor.
Blog Title
In your blog title, you can:
View Blog State: Monitor the current status of your blog post, whether it's ready for review, posting, published, missing approval, or archived.
Edit Blog Title: Modify the title of your blog post to accurately reflect its content.
See Keyword: View the associated keyword the blog is written around.
Blog Content
Customize the textual content of your blog post with the following options:
Text Type: Choose from various text types including Paragraph, Headers (1-6), Bulleted lists, and Numbered lists.
Font Size: Adjust the font size of selected text from 12px to 48px in 4px increments to enhance readability and visual appeal.
Text Styling: Apply formatting options such as Bold, Italicize, Underline, Strikethrough, Subscript, Superscript to selected text.

Blog Post States
Discover the status of your blog posts and stay informed about their progress with Seona's intuitive tracking system. Here are the five possible states for a blog post, tailored to your specific blog posting preferences:
Awaiting Approval:
This status indicates that the blog post is awaiting your review. Click on the blog post to access the editing options.
It appears when Seona initially generates the blog post and remains visible for a week after its creation.
This status persists until the blog is scheduled for posting, applicable to both "Automatically post" and "Approve before posting" preferences.
Publishing:
This state indicates that Seona is currently in the process of posting the blog. Please allow up to 24 hours for the post to be live.
While in this state, you can view the blog post but cannot make any edits.
It appears when Seona is posting a blog on its scheduled date or upon approval for posting.
This state is relevant for both "Automatically post" and "Approve before posting" preferences.
Published:
This status signifies that the blog post has been successfully published to your website by Seona.
While you can view the post by clicking on it, editing capabilities are disabled.
The published post includes the URL where it is live on your website.
It is applicable for both "Automatically post" and "Approve before posting" preferences.
Missing Approval:
This state indicates that the blog post is ready to be posted but requires your approval.
Click on the blog post to edit it and provide the necessary approval.
It appears when a blog post awaiting approval does not receive it by the scheduled post date.
Relevant exclusively for the "Approve before posting" preference.
Archived:
Signifying that the blog post has been written and archived, this state allows for viewing or manual posting.
Click on the blog post to edit it as needed.
It appears when the blog preference is set to "Manual," and a week has passed since the blog's creation.
FAQs
Where will Seona publish my blogs?
Wordpress: Seona will automatically publish your blog to your “Posts” page. If you do not have a posts page connected to a page on your site, see here for instructions on setting it up. Note that this connection does not affect your SEO; it only enables visitors to access your blog from the homepage.
Shopify: Seona will automatically publish your blog to your default Shopify blog page called “News”. If your “News” page is not connected to a page on your site, see here for guidance on setting it up. Similar to other platforms, this connection does not impact SEO.
Wix: Seona will automatically publish your blog to your default Wix blog page. If your default blog page is not connected to a page on your site, see here for instructions on setting it up.
SquareSpace: Seona will automatically publish your blog to your default SquareSpace blog page. If your default blog page is not connected to a page on your site, see here for guidance on setting it up.
Who will be listed as the blog author for my blogs?
Seona will select an existing author on your site to be attributed as the author for your blog posts. If you're using Wix or SquareSpace and wish to change the author name, please contact our support team for assistance.
Where can I view published blog posts?
If your blog posts are set to "Automatically Post" or "Approve Before Posting," once they are in the "Published" state, you can click on the blog post and then select "View Live Blog" in the top right corner to see where the blog has been posted on your site.
