Apollo Enrichment

Apollo Enrichment node in Converison

Updated this week

Apollo enrichment lets you automatically pull additional firmographic and contact data from Apollo into Conversion workflows. You can map Apollo fields like job title, company size, or LinkedIn profile to your own variables, keeping your CRM and marketing data up to date without manual work.

Connecting Apollo in settings

To connect Apollo, go to Settings → Integrations and select Apollo from the list. You’ll be prompted to complete OAuth authentication with your Apollo account. Once authorized, Apollo will appear as a connected integration in your workspace. You can remove or re-authorize at any time if credentials expire or if you need to connect a different account.

Using Apollo enrichment in workflows

Inside the workflow editor, drag in the Apollo enrich block. You’ll be asked to configure:

  • Variable to update: choose an existing variable or create a new one

  • Apollo field: select which Apollo field you want to pull data from (e.g. job title, first name, company domain)

  • Overwrite toggle: decide if Apollo data should replace existing values in Conversion, or only fill empty ones

Each time a workflow runs, Apollo will attempt to enrich the contact based on identifiers like email or domain. At least one matching variable must be present for enrichment to run. If there are no matching values, the step will be skipped to avoid incomplete or empty data.

Best practices

  • Prioritize key identifiers like email or domain to maximize enrichment accuracy

  • Keep overwrite off for fields like name or address if your internal data should take priority

  • Use Apollo enrichment early in workflows so that downstream steps like emails, webhooks, or Slack messages always work with complete data
